I remember listening to this game. I turned it off when it was 5-0 and turned it back on and heard the Habs score making it 5-2. I didn’t listen to the end and just assumed the Rangers held on and won until finding out about this game years later. lol

I watched the entirety of that game back then, live. Was NUTS! Somehow, I felt they could bring it back, thus I kept watching. Did not disappoint.

Sorry. Habs greatest comeback was against the Bruins in the '71 playoffs. Down 5-1, they stormed back to win 7-5 in REGULATION... not in some gimmicky shoot out in a nothing regular season game.

I was in the hospital with my wife expecting our first Child. To make it even sweeter the Doctor was a huge Habs fan and it gave us something to talk about during this stressful birth my Wife gave. 27 hours before he came out. Poor Wife, she had it rough. Healthy baby Boy came to this world the next morning of this great win.

I was 13 years old at the time and my dad bought tickets for the game. Losing 0-5, my dad was so mad and calling us unlucky hahaha! I remember seeing people leave the building at 0-5, and then the momentum switched... The crowd was wild! I will never forget this game
